The “Tour de Cure” bike ride is an annual event being held this year on May 31st and June 1st. Over the two day ride, cyclists will cover 150KM between Jacksonville and St. Augustine, FL to benefit the America Diabetes Association. To assist the riders training, the Lang’s are leading a yoga class specific for cyclists to improve ride performance and recovery. Sport specific yoga practice is very beneficial for cross training, injury prevention and event recovery. The class will be held on Saturday, May 17th at 2PM – 3:30PM at Power Yoga of San Marco. Dennis and Kathy Lang volunteered for the recent Donna Hicken Breast Cancer Marathon. As part of their giving back to the community efforts, the Lang’s worked the hydration station at mile 14 of the marathon held in Jacksonville Sunday, February 17th. "We both have family members who have fought breast cancer and we have been supporters of the foundation since its beginning", said Kathy Lang. The Lang’s also donated and led two yoga classes for the marathon runners the day before focused on improved performance, flexibility and relaxation techniques.
